We have to add the IP camera. Press the camera option.
When we press the camera option we get the following screen.

We have to add the device by the device search option. Press the ‘Device Search’ option.
All the added cameras will show up on the screen. Select your device here.

After the device selection go to check its status. To check the status scroll down the page and all the devices with their status will appear on the screen.

The green signal means the device is active and the red signal means the device is inactive.
To activate the device press the ‘Edit’ option.

You get the following page.
The list of cameras only indicates that these IP devices are connected to the NVR. Their status will reveal whether they are in an active state or inactive state. If they are in an active state, you will get them on the screen and if they are in an inactive state, they will not show up on the screen.
If you are using a Dahu IP camera with the Dahua NVR, then the manufacturer option will be private. If you are using a third-party product then the manufacturer option will be ONVIF.
You have to re-check their password, port, IP address, or manufacturer option.

Give the device details here. Mention the channel number of the camera and the manufacturer of the IP camera. If you are using a Dahua IP device then in the manufacturing column you will mention ‘Private’ and if you are using a third-party camera then you will select ‘ONVIF.’
Then fill in the device port, username and password.
After filling in all the relevant details press the ok button.
Now, refresh the device again.

You will find the status in green. This way the IP camera will be added to the Dahua NVR by device search option.

Add cameras and watch them on the monitor screen from anywhere.
