Step 1- Installation of the Hik Connect CMS App on a Windows PC

When we click the download button for the Windows CMS, we get the zipped file. Unzip it and then open it.

We get the following page on the screen. It is the first page of the Hik Connect App. The terms and conditions are given here.

Read them carefully and if you are satisfied with the terms and conditions, tick the box and then press the next button.

You will get a new page. Here, on this page, you will find the features of the application. Tick the relevant boxes you want to install.

After that, give a path to the folder and select the folder location.

Now, press the ‘Install ‘ button. The Application file will begin to load on the screen.

Here, you can add CCTV Cameras and Recorders.

When you need to connect CCTV Cameras through IP/Domain, you require the device name, IP address, port, username and password. Make sure that the IP username and password of the device are required.

This way you will manually add cameras. After that, press the add button. This way you can add as many Cameras/NVRs as wanted.

Now, you can watch them on the Windows screen.

Go to the main menu and select the ‘Main View’ option.

Click open the ‘Main View’ option and get the Windows screen. All the added cameras will appear.
