STEP 1 #Installation of Smart Viewer for PC

Now find your extracted file on your computer and right-click on that file. Find the option called “Run as Administrator,” find it and click on it. Now it asks for administrator privileges; just give it by clicking on the “Yes” button. Then your setup is about to start.

Now a welcome screen appears to you for the installation of the app. Just click on the “Next” button.

The second option for adding your device to the software is to click on the “Auto Icon”. This option is only for local devices, meaning your DVR/NVR is running on the same network as your PC running.

Now you have filled in your device details in this window. Select your device model in the “Model Name“. In the address type, you have chosen the same as your device is running on. In my case, I chose the “IP Address“.

Fill in the IP address and the port the same as your device. You can find the port number of your device in the network option on your DVR/NVR. ID and password must be the same as your device ID and password.

After filling in all the details, click on the Connection Test button first. If the connection succeeds, click on the “Register” button. If the connect not succeed, you have to check whether the address and the port number are filled correctly or not.

You may select another “Address Type” if your device is not running on an IP address. Select as per your DVR/NVR address type.

Now your CCTV device has been added. It is time to see your CCTV cameras on your computer.

STEP 4 # Live Monitoring on the Smart Viewer for Windows

Now you can find your device in the upper-left corner. Select the device and click on the connect button as shown in the screenshot below.
