Hence this article is all about default CCTV default password.

So this article is not limited to a particular “CCTV default password“,  it covers almost all the brands but if few brands are missing kindly mention in the comment. I try to cover almost all IP addresses and passwords but few products have a unique code that will mention in their user manual.

1. Hikvision Default Password and IP address

Hikvision default password

Hikvision one of the best CCTV camera brands all over the world and it has many customers around the world. Sometimes they need to know for the default password of the Hikvsion’s devices. Here is the default password of Hikvision’s devices.

2. Dahua default IP address and password

Dahua default IP address is in the series of  192.168.1.XXX and if you need to change IP address then you need to follow the below link “How to change Dahua IP address“.

  • admin/admin admin/123456 (master account of local and network accessing)
  • 888888/888888 (local administrator)
  • 666666/666666 (restricted user)

    I’m interested in how to telnet as a root using the ip adress, is there any method to crack the root password? I tried hydra on kali linux but i need a txt file contains the most populer root passwords for all dvr’s and nvr’s including the newer versions from all chinees hisilicon chips.. can anyone involve his nose??

    Good Day i just bought a 2nd hand surveillance system, the model is TF8604AHD
    The person i bought it from cannot remember username or password, i need to factory reset, in order for me to be able to access camera’s via my phone, can you please assist.

      Of course, I can help guide you through the general steps to perform a factory reset on a surveillance system like the TF8604AHD:
      1. Locate Reset: Find the reset button (usually a small hole).

      2. Use Paperclip: Insert paperclip, hold reset for 10-15 sec.

      3. Disconnect Power: Unplug power while holding reset.

      4. Release Reset: Let go of reset button.

      5. Reconnect Power: Plug power back in.

      6. Wait: Wait a minute for reset to finish.

      7. Default Credentials: Use default username and password (check manual).

      Use default credentials or reset the camera to factory defaults.
      Check the camera’s manual for reset instructions.
